Boys Basketball
A Message from Coach El-Amin
Our program culture is built on discipline, accountability, communication, and consistent effort. We emphasize high character, competitive excellence, and a team-first mindset. Players are expected to represent themselves, their families, and HFCA with pride both on and off the court.
Beyond competition, we focus on developing confident leaders who understand responsibility, time management, and resilience. Our athletes grow in accountability, communication, and decision-making, skills that serve them in the classroom, in the community, and in life.
HFCA Basketball is closely aligned with the school’s mission of developing the whole student. We combine high-level basketball development with academic accountability, mentorship, and exposure to opportunities beyond the game. Our players are challenged to be excellent students, teammates, and young men.
Being part of this program means committing to growth. If a student is willing to work hard, be coached, and hold themselves to a high standard, this program will help them maximize their potential on and off the court.

Cheerleading
A Message from Coach Manns
Being part of the HFCA Cheer Team is about more than competition—it’s about building confident leaders!
Our program is special because we start small (K5) and never limit a scholar’s potential based on age or size. We focus on growth, sisterhood, and leadership, teaching our cheerleaders to show up, support one another, and give their best in everything they do. HFCA cheerleaders stand out because they learn confidence, responsibility, accountability, and pride.
They are more than the spirit of HFCA—they are the face of our school, representing excellence, commitment, and what it truly means to give 100%.
Volleyball
A Message from Coach Cook
There were lots of nerves because this was Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy’s first ever volleyball team, but our girls held themselves and each other accountable from the start. Sportsmanship was paramount, and athletes learned how to pick themselves up and shake off nerves, insecurity, or bad attitudes along the way.
Girls will have the chance to represent HFCA’s new volleyball program and make a name for themselves while helping build something new.
Get ready to face some hard but good work, because volleyball is one of the toughest team sports — are you ready to take on that challenge?
