The Mission Lives on In You Each Day

Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy alumni are living chapters of our story. Each path looks different, but all are rooted in the same foundation of belief, accountability, and possibility. Our alumni reflect what happens when students are encouraged to pursue opportunity, stay curious, and carry their purpose forward.

Jahmari Hill’s story reflects that legacy in action. A proud member of the Class of 2023, Jahmari is now a rising junior at UW–Milwaukee, an All-In Milwaukee scholar, and an IT Business Analyst intern at Baird. As a student of Information Science and Technology, he is turning curiosity into experience and laying the foundation for a future he is actively shaping.

Stories like Jahmari’s remind current scholars that the path ahead is real and achievable. Our alumni show what it looks like to dream forward, stay connected, and return as living proof that the HFCA mission is possible.

BELIEF IN YOU & THE NEXT GENERATION

THE MISSION IN MOTION

At Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy, every student is seen, supported, and believed in. Jacob Allen’s journey from the Class of 2023 to a future HFCA teacher is proof of what happens when that belief turns into real opportunities. Moments like this reflect the mission alumni helped shape and show how the academy continues to create pathways for students to thrive.

Testimonials

WHAT ALUMNI & STAFF ARE SAYING

“I never thought I would be working at a school, let alone the same school I just graduated from. I just want to be a beacon of light and show them that you can go to and through college because I am currently doing it myself. The mission is something I keep near and dear to me because it is more than a saying, it is a belief.”

Nazir Ali

Alumni

“I was first-generation in many ways in my family, so I had to figure a lot out on my own. Now, I feel like I’m that bridge for the kids who are in the position I once was. To and through college to me means that once you’re family, you’re always family.”

Shawn Allen

Alumni

“We want our scholars here. I think it is a beautiful thing, but it is also very real. When alumni want to come back and contribute to the ongoing vision and mission of our organization, that commitment has to be honored.”
