Over the Winter Break, these student athletes are got into the grind. The Lions Boys Basketball Team is putting in the work during Winter Break to sharpen their skills. Let’s go Lions and please wish them good luck on the remainder of their season.

Save the Date: Parent Meeting on Wednesday, January 24

We are excited to invite you to a important parent meeting on Wednesday, January 24, at 5:30 p.m. at the school. This gathering holds significance as we’ll be sharing expansion plans for the 2024-2025 school year, offering insights into our exciting new high school facility, and providing updates on the upcoming remodeling project at our 29th and Capitol Drive location. Construction Update

On location, 11th-grade Technology Ambassador and student athlete Jacob guides us through the site, showcasing the latest developments. Significant progress is evident as exterior sheeting is being installed, workers are gearing up to pour concrete floors and are getting ready to install the roof. The new high school facility will soon be a vibrant home for up to 500 scholars and is slated to open in the Fall of 2024

Notice: New Uniform Expectations for Second Semester

We look forward to the return of our scholars to pursue our mission to nurture scholars capable of transforming their world by sending them to and through college. Starting January 8th, students can wear any color, school-appropriate closed-toe shoes. No Crocs, house shoes, high heels, or slippers allowed.

We’re also expanding uniform options to include khaki or black pants (no leggings or jeggings). Students must wear a belt of their choice and are no longer required to tuck in their shirts. We want to maintain a professional appearance without hindering educational opportunities.

Students must still wear their HFCA polo and/or branded HFCA gear every day, Monday through Friday.
