Good evening HFCA families and scholars,
I am writing to inform you of some important developments regarding our school community and upcoming events.
Over the past four school days, we have unfortunately seen an increase in positive cases of COVID-19 among both students and staff. As of now, we have confirmed a total of six positive cases within our school community. While we are diligently following all safety protocols and working closely with health authorities, we must take additional precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of everyone in our community.
We strongly recommend that all students and staff wear masks while on school grounds to further mitigate the risk of transmission. While this is not a mandatory requirement at this time, we believe it is a responsible step to take given the current situation.
Further, in order to minimize gatherings and potential exposure, we have decided to cancel the Parent Teacher conferences that were scheduled for Thursday. We understand the importance of these meetings, and we must prioritize the health and safety of our school community, given recent events. Parents and guardians, we strongly encourage you to reach out to teachers and staff for information about your child’s progress. We will hold two nights of parent teacher conferences in April as planned.
We understand that these changes may cause inconvenience, but please know that they are being made with the utmost consideration for the health and safety of our school community. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates as needed.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this challenging time. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Sincerely,
Principal Smith (p.smith@hfca.org)
