Senior Jadius McGhee is excited to announce his college choice. McGhee has been accepted into over 25 colleges and single-handedly earned over $1.5 million dollars in scholarship dollars and plans to study sports communications.
“I’m beyond ecstatic and proud of the graduating class of 2021,” explains McGhee “Despite being virtual for almost the entire year, we have pushed hard. I look forward to seeing where we all continue our education.”
Kayla Cobbs has been accepted into seven colleges and plans to study animal biology, “UW-Whitewater is my first choice, but you’ll have to wait until May 7 when I announce my school and the awards I have received.”
“I am proud of myself and I credit my teachers and mentors for helping me flourish academically and to grow into a responsible young adult,” adds Cobbs.
College Decision Day will be held in-person for members of the Class of 2021. In-person attendees will observe social distancing protocols. We encourage our families and community to join us LIVE on Facebook to acknowledge to help celebrate the Class of 2021.
