Dear HFCA Supporters,
Meet Alexandria, a 9th grader who joined us from Milwaukee College Prep with big dreams and an even bigger heart.
She first came to HFCA for a school tour and could instantly feel the difference.
“It looked family oriented. It looked like everybody wanted to connect with each other,” she said. “With a lot of bigger high schools, that’s hard to find. I wanted somewhere I could actually get to know people and have people there for me.”
Now, she’s thriving in an environment that fuels her curiosity and supports her vision for the future. Alexandria is dreaming big: she wants to be a lawyer, a real estate agent, and maybe even a psychologist.
“I want to learn how people think and why they react the way they do.”
It’s the way our teachers show up for students that truly inspires her.
“When I saw how the teachers interact with the students and each other, it made me feel like I could do it too.”
Outside of class, you’ll find Alexandria running track and crushing a plate of buffalo wings. She’s a thinker, a dreamer, and someone who says if she could have any superpower, she’d want to read people’s minds.
