Scholars in grades 9 through 11 will participate in a week-long College Expedition Week. Sessions include how to select a college that is the best fit and how to be a successful college student. Students will participate in a college application simulation, work on goal setting and career exploration. Students will also visit college campuses around the city and state.

On Wednesday, students in the 12th-grade will have an opportunity to participate in UNCF’s Empower Me Tour, a college and career experience designed to inspire and motivate high school, toward academic excellence, career success and personal responsibility.

This special week culminates in MCA’s annual College Fair. On Friday, November 2, MCA will host over 25 colleges and universities providing scholars with an opportunity to learn more about their educational options after high school. The College Fair will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Parents are encouraged to attend.
